With a remarkable career spanning over 40 years in event and concessions management, Jonathan Rawls is a founding partner of Premier Events, contributing his determination, extensive knowledge, and strategic thinking to the company’s overall business affairs. Jonathan’s initiation into event concessions dates back to 1984 when he secured the ultimate college job selling concessions at Braves games to fundraise for his Oglethorpe University fraternity, where he collaborated with his fraternity brother, Rob Frazer, who would later become a partner in Premier Events. When Lakewood Amphitheater opened in 1989, Jonathan demonstrated was tasked with recruiting, training, and managing the entire concessions staff with just two weeks’ notice, showcasing his ability to achieve significant results under extraordinary pressure.
In 1995, Jonathan joined forces with Rob Frazer to establish Premier Events, focusing on providing concessions management services for Atlanta’s Music Midtown Festival. Despite his preference for a behind-the-scenes role, Jonathan plays a pivotal role in the company, guiding the company’s overall business affairs, staying abreast of the latest technology to enhance and streamline processes, and contributing to the development and execution of complex concessions operations plans. His enduring dedication and expertise have been instrumental in the success and growth of Premier Events over the years.
